When the S-Foils of the TIE Hunter are locked in attack position, the fighter's top speed is 115 MGLT, but the fighter's closed wing configuration redirects all energy intended for the energy cannons. The craft is produced in limited quantities and performs relatively well, but as a result of internal debates within Naval Command for and against using weapons improved with the enemy's designs, the TIE Hunter doesn't see use outside of the storm commandos. Oremin is also known to use these fighters for many of the same reasons as the storm commandos, as well as the fact that it doesn't have the same bias as the Imperial Navy.
